Sorry for the lateness in the email...but technically I sent
it on Wednesday night =)  So this week we are learning about Love
Multiplies!  I'm really sad that I won't be able to join you guys this
week, because I am going up to San Jose for the weekend before I start my
position at church!  You can definitely talk to me on AIM or text me how
it went!

Important announcements:

Outreaching Event this Saturday!!!  Come to
church to get to know the community and help pass out flyers for Harvest
Night.  Starts at 10am!

Harvest Nightttttt!!!! Keeeep the night in your prayers! 
Especially for those new comers!

No sports due to outreaching event

·        
Just a reminder to submit your article for the
"Love Your Church" campaign!  Write an article (no more than 500
words) on ways to better our home!  Deadline is THIS Sunday!

Dear FreeExitians:

I hope your week so far has been great!  This week we are continuing our
series on Love out Loud, and this Friday’s lesson is on “Love
Serves”.  Once again, attached is the discussion sheet that we went
over last Friday for those of you who weren’t at fellowship.  We
will review Love Risks this Friday, so don’t forget!  Also, you may
not want to miss out this Friday because we will be doing something very
special!  I can’t tell you what it is tho…

SUPER
IMPORTANT!  - I know we’ve
been starting at 7:30pm, but in effort with other fellowships at church beginning
to meet on Friday’s at 7pm, we are going to start our fellowships at
7:00pm sharp!  That way we both start and end around the same time
(Hopefully around 9pm) J

·        
Harvest Night!  The Facebook event has been
created and I believe most of you are invited.  You can invite others through
the FB event page, or grab some flyers from Christin to pass out to your
friends!

·        
Wednesday Night Worship Service.  Again, we
are having it tonight at 7:00 PM

·        
I don’t believe there is Sports this
Saturday…unless you guys reallllly, realllly, really want to do it, you
can!  Bryant and I just won’t be there. =(

·        
PUSH starts on Sundays at 8:45am.  All are
welcome to join.

·        
Remember to keep each other in your prayers!!!

Hi Everybody!

As promised…an email by Wednesday night!  This
week we are continuing our Love Out Loud series.  We will be watching
and discussing “Love Risks”.  Just a short recap to remind you
all and for those who weren’t here last Friday: Loving Out Loud requires
action, not just saying it…  Loving others is a sacrifice because
that is what Jesus did for us, and by our love for others, they can see God’s
through us!  For those of you who weren’t here on Friday, attached
is the discussion sheet.  I encourage you all to save these in a binder or
folder and bring them on Friday’s!

Harvest Night is on October 30th.

Remember Christin’s requests: If you can
help, to bring friends, and suggestions for group games.

Remember Kevin Vrooman’s promise: if at
least 10 new youths come, he’ll buy those who brought friends ice cream/Jamba/both?

Sports Program!

We didn’t end up giving out T-Shirts
because not too many people came.  Pastor also wants a group picture with
everyone wearing a T-Shirt, so make sure to come this Saturday!  AT 9:00! 
And we will definitely hand them out J

Not sure if you all will get this in time, but every
Wednesday (starting TODAY), CGBC is having a mid-week worship service from
7-8pm.  Join us for prayer and praise!

Hi Everyone!
This Friday is the start of our NEW church year!  Instead of spending a
whole Friday night talking about what we are going to do, we are going to dive
straight into our first series
 

“Love Out Loud” where we will watch a short
video and have some time for discussion! 

There will be some important announcements afterwards! 
Looking forward to seeing you all this Friday and the new church year!

Hi Everyone!

I am SO excited for this Friday, because God has been revealing so much
to me lately!  Like I mentioned last Friday, you don’t want to miss
out this Friday, because I think God wants to speak to each and everyone one of
you…  Indeed I am only a vessel for God, but I want to take this
opportunity to share what’s been on my heart, and I know God will use me
to speak to all of you in a deeper and personal level.  But it won’t
be just me talking…we will have small group discussion on some questions
too, like the question I asked all of you to think and ponder on over the
course of this week: “What Am I Living For?”

So this Friday is going to be very unique… and since we
have so much to do, I am asking everyone to be on time here at 7pm  (Yes…I
know, I know…that includes me too! Haha).  But we won’t begin
with PUSH, so please be on time, otherwise you may be missing an
opportunity to hear God speak to you!

Announcements/Reminders

“Go Fish” is coming up!  May 23rd
pretty much for the whole day.  More details to follow this Friday, with a
permission slip.  Please let me know if you are planning to go to the
event this Friday so I can get a head count.

·        
Even though our outreach day is over a week from
now, begin to pray this simple prayer everyday: “God, please show me how
to love and who to love”.  Who knows, He may show you someone who
needs God’s love before “Go Fish”…  If it is one
thing I learned is God’s timing is never in sync with our timing!

·        
Please remember my challenge for this month =) 
But it doesn’t have to be for just this month…it can continue on…
