Love Risks

Hi Everybody!

 

As promised…an email by Wednesday night!  This
week we are continuing our Love Out Loud series.  We will be watching
and discussing “Love Risks”.  Just a short recap to remind you
all and for those who weren’t here last Friday: Loving Out Loud requires
action, not just saying it…  Loving others is a sacrifice because
that is what Jesus did for us, and by our love for others, they can see God’s
through us!  For those of you who weren’t here on Friday, attached
is the discussion sheet.  I encourage you all to save these in a binder or
folder and bring them on Friday’s!

 

Important Announcements:

Harvest Night is on October 30th.

o  
Remember Christin’s requests: If you can
help, to bring friends, and suggestions for group games.

o  
Remember Kevin Vrooman’s promise: if at
least 10 new youths come, he’ll buy those who brought friends ice cream/Jamba/both?
=) (On a separate day)

Sports Program!

o  
We didn’t end up giving out T-Shirts
because not too many people came.  Pastor also wants a group picture with
everyone wearing a T-Shirt, so make sure to come this Saturday!  AT 9:00! 
And we will definitely hand them out J

·        
Not sure if you all will get this in time, but every
Wednesday (starting TODAY), CGBC is having a mid-week worship service from
7-8pm.  Join us for prayer and praise!
